Pricing
Prices are subject to change without notice. King Technologies (KTI) reserves the right to bill all orders at prices in effect at the time of shipment. All pricing and transactions are in U. S. dollars.
Payment Terms
King Technologies, Inc. accepts the following methods of payment: COD (anything over $250.00 will be COD certified funds), advance payment, credit card (Visa, Master Card, American Express, and Discover), or open account. Repairs shipped COD that are returned unpaid may be sold after 60 days in order to satisfy unpaid repair charges. For open account credit terms, see below.
Credit Terms
A KTI credit application must be provided. KTI reserves the right to withhold credit. In the absence of prior agreement, terms on open accounts are due within 30-days of invoice (net 30-days). Open accounts that are past due 45-60 days will be changed to COD, 60-90 days will be placed on credit hold, and any account over 90 days past due will be placed with collections. 2% monthly (24% per-annum) on over due accounts; return checks subject to $20 fee.
Sales Tax
Tennessee requires that sales tax be collected on all repairs. Prices do not include sales tax. Sales tax will be added to the amount invoiced by KTI unless a Sales Tax Exemption form has been provided to KTI. (Contact KTI to confirm tax-exempt status.)
Shipping / Discrepancies
KTI sales are FOB. Shipping charges will be added to the amount invoiced by KTI. It is the responsibility of KTI's customer to request and pay for insurance if desired. Any shipping/receiving discrepancies must be reported to KTI within 15 days.
As a matter of procedure, King Technologies adds the actual shipping charge to repair and sales invoices as a separate line item. Customers for whom a separate shipping line item presents a problem should notify King Technologies in advance of invoicing.
Acceptance / Cancellation / Returns
KTI reserves the right to accept or reject all orders. Cancellations may be subject to a charge equivalent to any expense actually incurred by KTI up to the point at which cancellation occurs. Return of items purchased or repaired by KTI during the warranty period requires a Return Materials Authorization (RMA) from KTI: call KTI to obtain an RMA number; a 20% restocking fee may apply. No returns after 30-days. KTI is not liable for discrepancies not reported within 15-days after receipt of shipment.
Emergency Repairs
KTI offers expedited repair service in emergency situations. The fee for this service is an additional 20% of the then current repair price. This service must be requested in advance of returning the item(s) for expedited repair by calling Customer Service at 800-489-7372. KTI reserves the right to determine turnaround time based upon the item being returned for expedited repair however, KTI will normally repair the items and ship within 24-72 hours from receipt.
